Hello world! My name is Jawad Haider. I'm a mathematician, a data scientist and a computer programmer. That might sound like I'm a nerd, well probably, but hey hold your horses, don't rush to judgement, let me present my case first 😊

Yes, I am academically inclined, yes I do spend a lot of time in front of my computer screen, yes I work on complex algorithms that won't make sense even if I tried to explain it to someone and yes my knowledge about the rest of world is, shall we say, limited. And definitely a double nod to me being socially awkward and clumsy at times and and its a fact that I am completely tactless when it comes to talking to the opposite gender specially if I find them a little too attractive .
But you know what! I've got a good sense of humor and nerds don't have that. 😉

My Disposition & Temperament:

Science, particularly mathematics has a rigid structure, it advocates rationality and as far as I have observed, scientists tend to be more aggressive about rules and following the established procedure (that we have set ourselves). We guys are, in nature, more critical and less forgiving and I can feel those tendencies in myself as well but luckily what brings another dimension to my personality is that I am also in love with literature, poetry, philosophy and arts in general.
The creativity and imagination of human spirit has no bound, it is beyond what science can easily comprehend or what a mathematical formula can neatly describe. Those who love literature or any other form of creative human expression like music or paintings or so, are able to appreciate finer things in life. They grow less critical and more forgiving. I am happy to understand both these behaviors.

Hooof!!!! That was some thick language, thanks for bearing with me. I occasionally break into fits of intellectual euphoria and it gets hard to contain myself, apologies 🎃

My Hobbies:

Before high-performance computer machines, smart phones and other digital devices, I used to spend more time with books. In my teenage I was addictively interested in Detective Fiction. My favorite writers were Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle, Earl Stanley Gardner and Ibn-eSafi . Now I mostly watch movies and tv shows, listen to some divine music, hang out with my buddies and play Chess. Life is kind, more often than not. 🎷
