It's rather similar to Tai Chi, but whereas Tai Chi has one performing a certain set of positions and movements, in Qi Gong (or Chi Kung) we practice certain positions for longer and without them having to be done in a certain order. It is slightly more focused on standing still and learning to relax as much as possible.

Uh. I see. Well sounds interesting. I haven't been into any chinese art of healing though im Asian. Is it just the same as yoga??

Qi Gong is quite dissimilar to yoga, as it is mostly focused on fluid movements and standing postures that are relatively easy, whereas yoga usually involves a lot of stretching and bending. The remarkable thing is that both increase flexibility, because in both you become conscious of your body and deeply relax core muscles.
