Hello Steemit! My proper introduction post

Hello fellow Steemians,

My name is Iñaki Morton and I’m from Barcelona! It’s been a month now since I discovered Steemit and I’ve been reading numerous posts and most importantly trying to figure out what I could enjoy writing about that this community would appreciate.

Where I’m from

Although I’m from Spain I’m attending university in San Francisco, majoring in Finance. I’ve grown big passions for sports like skiing, biking, hiking and surfing (That last one because of living in California) and most importantly I’ve become over the years addicted to reading, as probably most Steemians are.

The past few months have been tough for Barcelona, and specially Catalonia. I plan on talking about the situation if enough people ask for it although this is not what I’ll be posting about mainly in my channel.

Things I’ve done

Travel. The things I’m most proud of and my best memories with my friends come from travelling. In fact, what I’m going to talk about in my channel comes because of travelling. Reminder: This is not going to be another travel channel, there are far too many on Steem, some very good ones.

One of the things I’m most proud of is being one of the first and few people to reach the exact point where the river Amazon is born at 5170m up in the Peruvian Andes (story for another day). This expedition developed in me a huge interest for the Incan Culture, something I plan on sharing with all interested Steemians.

Why I’m here

Art. Archeology. History.
These are my three secret passions and what I can’t stop reading and learning more about. Although I also very much enjoy Finance, I love reading about the Ancient Egyptian culture, Roman and Greek Art, new Archeological findings in Peru, Mexico, China, etc.

I’m decided to write random stories about crazy Egyptian Pharaohs, new news on Archeological findings, Historical battles and historical features. Something you can’t yet find on Steemit and slowly add new topics to this great community.
