aweh loosely translates to aweh. Its difficult to explain. Just say it randomly, you`ll get the hang of it. AH-WEH.

So today, a friend of mine told me about steemit. My work blocks all the interesting things on the internet so instead I stole some wifi and had a peek on my phone.

mind. blown. Look, I'm not going to bullshit. I don`t really understand the finer details of crypto currencies. Lets face the facts, I don't understand the finer details of normal money. Truth be told i don't know the finer details of most things. But what I do know is that this has the potential to be internet changing. This concept is amazing. Ive never blogged before, or written this much on the internet before in my life. Its going to change though. I want to be part of this. I want to be able to say to my cats grandcats that I was there. Back in the day. So here I am.

I guess let me introduce myself.

30odd year old, living in Cape Town, South Africa. Born and bred in the shadows of the Boland vineyards. I now spend an INORDINATE amount of time at work. Seriously. Its just not cricket as they say.

I live with my 2 cats. Sully and Zeebo. Beautiful little things they are. The ones a bit retarded, he keeps on getting locked in the garage. I think he likes the smell of petrol. I also have a couple of plants on my balcony... so that is pretty interesting. I like festivals with loud music under blue skies and sunshine. I like to talk politics and philosophy (disclaimer: i pretend to know things that I don't have a clue about) I'm opinionated, pretty stubborn and generally like to have a laugh. The rest of the really cool stuff I`ll delve into as we go. We are talking cults, murder, drugs, sex... the list is endless, I shit you not.

I want to tell you about my day to day life. I want to delve into my country and give you a peak into its sometimes ridiculous, sometimes harsh, always beautiful nature.

This is my diary. You are my nosy siblings.

p.p.s I need to add a picture. Everyone else has pictures. If I was a sexy girl I`d go do my makeup. But I'm not and that's always really weird and uncomfortable. BUT I did draw a picture of me holding up one of those signs with my name and one of my cats. Yip. Important. I was super intelligent and put it in the middle of all the texts so I can brighten up your 2 minutes reading time.
