Introduction ...... Better late than never!

I forgot to do an introductory post when I first joined Steemit a year ago. Lately Im finding more time to contribute and I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience. So many enlightened and interesting people to interact with. Anyway I reached 100 followers so I thought now is the time to present an introduction and here as a treat is what I believe to be the greatest personal introduction the world has ever seen ...... So who is the Gamma Rat? .... Some years ago, scientists experimenting with rats categorised the vast major­ity of their subjects as 'Beta' rats. These were normal hardworking rats who did all the really important things that keep a society going. The other main category of Rats making up around 1% were the 'Alpha' rats, caviar eating, champagne swilling, yacht owning elites who generally lorded it over the Betas. This pretty well-corresponded with the way the researchers thought the world worked.


But as the rat society began to desend into chaos they were surprised to find a third type of rat emerge .... 'The Gamma Rat'. This creature staked out a territory and chose the pick of the litter for a mate, like the Alpha, but didn't attempt to dominate the rest of society. The Gamma pushed values of freedom and equality and began to expose the control system of the "Alphas' and to wake the 'Betas' up to the fact that really they were all Gamma Rats!


My guess is that as society becomes more repressive, more and more chaotic, Gamma people will tune in to the problem and rise up to the challenge of finding the solution ......
