কেমন লাগে সেই হতভাগা বাবার..............???? যিনি খেয়ে না খেয়ে নিজের জীবন যৌবন বিসর্জন দিয়ে সন্তানকে ভালো মানুষ করতে চাইতেন, যিনি রোদে পুড়ে বৃষ্টিতে ভীজে মাঠে ফসল ফলাতেন, বাবা মাথার ঘাম পায়ে পেলে মাটি কেটে অর্থ রোজগার করতেন, বাবা হাজার কষ্টে থাকলেও সন্তানের অসুস্থতায় চিকিৎসার টাকা আগে পাঠাতেন, বাবা সকল দোষ নিজের কাঁধে নিয়ে সন্তানকে দায় মুক্ত করতেন, যিনি রাস্তা-ঘাট,দোকান-পাঠ,হাট-বাজার সকল জায়গায় সন্তানের মাথার উপর বটবৃক্ষের ন্যায় ছায়া দিতেন, বাবা শত অপরাদের পরও সন্তানকে নিয়ে গর্ব করতেন আমার সন্তান হবে পৃথিবীর শ্রেষ্ঠ সন্তান। বাবা চাইতেন আমার জীবনের বিনিময়ে হলেও আমার সন্তান এ পৃথিবীতে মাথা উঁচু করে দাঁড়াক। আর সে জন্যই বাবা তার সহায় সম্পত্তি রেখে খালি হাতে পরপারে পাড়ি দেন।

অতপর আজ যখন সন্তান শিক্ষায় দিক্ষায় শ্রেষ্ঠ বাবা তখন মূর্খ,সন্তান প্রচুর অর্থ-সম্পদের মালিক আর বাবা অর্থ সম্পদহীন,( এক কাপ চায়ের দামের জন্য দোকানে হাজারও কথা শুনছেন)। সন্তান সামাজিক মান মর্যাদার শীর্ষে তাই বাবার পরিচয়টা দিতেও সংকোচ বোধকরে, সন্তান অনেক ক্ষমতার অধিকারী তারপরও সমাজে বাবার ইজ্জত রক্ষা হয়না, বন্ধু বান্ধব ও আত্মীয় সজন সন্তানের নিত্য দিনের সঙ্গী আর বাবা থাকেন বৃদ্ধাশ্রমে।

হয়ত আমার কোন বন্ধু যুক্তি দেখিয়ে বলবেন বাবা আমার জন্য শ্রম দিয়েছেন আমি আমার সন্তানের জন্য শ্রম দিচ্ছি হিসাব বরাবর। তাহলে আমি তাকে বলব বন্ধু তোমার সন্তান তোমার দূঃখের সময় ছিলনা, ছিলেন তোমার বাবা।

বুঝার জন্য বলছি কাউকে দোষ দেয়ার জন্য নয়।
