Hello, world.

I don't think anyone is ever any good at first impressions so I won't pretend otherwise for both yours and my sakes.

I am a gamer, a real geek and sometimes nerd about many different things in life; anime, books, video games, technology, even history. If anyone could hazard a guess as to why I'm practically enthralled by the minutiae of nearly everything it would probably be chalked up to lifelong ADD/ADHD.

As to why I am here, I am tired of Facebook, of Instagram, even Twitter though I use that still for the moment. I'm tired of being turned into data points to be reduced to black and white, this-or-that, business friendly packaging. I understand business, don't misunderstand me on that but, I am tired of being the product.

If that makes sense, great and if not, well. Maybe in time you too will tire of seeing ads for things merely because you had a passing fancy or whim to read up on something. Or worse, someone else did some surfing on your browser and now it thinks you have gone crazy for some celebrity and must need ads pushing gossip and "news" at you.

Ah, but listen to me prattle. Not a good first impression is it? At least I told you so but hey, thanks for reading it until the end. 🦊
