My Steemit Introduction...

Hello fellow Steemians,

Im Steve @Fifemandu, Some of you may already be following me for some of the articles that I have already published. 18 including this one so far. Those of you who are already following me, I hope you have enjoyed my content. For those of you who are yet to get on board, I hope you find something of value here. I have written on topics such as hydroponics, artificial intellegence, and cryptocurrency. I did one peice on James Bond Island. #JamesBondIsland (That one is really to get started on a pictorial of karst landscapes. I think they make for beautiful landscapes. There are a couple more on that topic that I will be publishing in the coming months.)

A little about me...

Im a 47 year old divorced guy. I live in the #Florida #Panhandle in #Navarre. Its a beach community that is minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. Originally, however, I am from the Chicago area. Lived the first 40 years of my life there. For the last 3 years, I have been selling cars. Both new and used at Hampton Hyundai #HamptonHyundai in Fort Walton Beach. Spent a year in the middle of that at a couple different Honda stores, but ultimately decided I liked the Hyundai brand better, so I went back. I tell everybody that I went back because the Honda stores didnt offer any shade from the sun. the #Hyundai store did. That wasnt the only reason, but that was certainly a part of it.
Before I worked in the car business I was delivering appliances for Lowes part time and had a home based manufacturing business (i had the manufacturing business for 15 years). Those left me with a lot of time, so I developed a few hobbies and interests such as the topics that I have written about #hydroponics. I have branched out into other areas, but all of them kinda fell under the general topic of #homesteading. One of the activities was keeping #chickens. After the shut down of my manufacturing business, I got a job in the car business, but wanted a side business to generate not just income but wealth. I read a book on trading currency, but ultimately settled on investing in ETFs. Not the income generating business I had in mind, but a good sound investment for the future. To make a long story shorter, the growing sectors of the internet of things and artificial intelligence sounded pretty exciting to me. I invested in high tech leveraged stock funds. In a round about way, doing research for that is how I stumbled upon #cryptocurrency. Bought my first bitcoin in July of 2017. I am sure you can figure out how I found #Steemit from there.

My goal as a Steemit member...

Steemit is awesome. Its a great way to share with the world and earn a little bit of money (or a lot). I like how it creates a unique way to that ensure more quality content goes on the internet instead of the usual garbage that you find on it. So my plan is to write articles about various topics that I am either intimately familiar with such as car sales or topics I am very interested in like the field of homesteading. I will also publish articles on tech stuff like cryptocurrency, the internet of things #IOT, and artificial intelligence. I will periodically throw in a few other random topics. Maybe some food porn. The important part is that with each and every article, my goal is to provide something of value even if the only value is to create awareness of the topic.

Some my say Im weird because of some of the niche topics I am interested in. Some might deem me schizophrenic cuz I am all over the place with my interests, heck, I may bore you to tears. Let me know what you think. I encourage everyone who reads my stuff to engage me and other Steemians in open discussion. Comment on my articles. And while your here, follow me and upvote my articles too. I will return the favor and together we can grow!
