So what's the point!!!!

It has become a thing of less concern and negligence to the institution and society at large as what clouds the mind of all is having impressing grades without having a fundamental knowledge of whats being read. Discovery from school research has illustrated how much students read to have good grades but fail to study to improve their minds and mental capacity. Most students study under pressure of not failing and impressing the abstract audience. What an ambience of deception to self and lack of self gratification. The last time I checked, the least number of years spent in a higher institution is 3 years. It is profoundly disheartening that after these number of years, you get to discover that the result made can't be defended. Everything crammed has evaporated like the speed of light and feel as empty as you started. What is the importance of rigorous study without application, what is the importance of craving for knowledge without it permanently glued in your memory archive. And Even our so-called Professors and other lecturers are in no way trying to help matters. I was in a class on a beautiful morning and after the 2hours lecture, a classmate raised his hand to ask a question about the topic taught. After asking the question, the Professor told him not to bother himself because he is not going to set that kind of question in the exam. You can imagine! Most lecturers like my Prof successfully condition the mind of their students to only study to pass exams. And this is now becoming the trend....
