I recently just joined the steemit platform, a few minutes after a friend recommended it to me. He saw a post I wrote online and thought I would be a great addition to the community, plus I would get paid doing it.

Immediately I checked out the steemit platform, and after exploring the community, I made the decision that I would love to be a part of this community. Not just for the reason of earning but because there was something good going on here. Something other platforms like Medium didn't possess.

Here I am, and yet I have been advised to introduce myself to the community. Not required but advised. There is a little issue though. I'm not one who is used to talking about himself and so how not sure how this would work.

Sometimes, I look myself in the mirror and realize there's still a lot about myself I still don't know. But the things I do know, are what I will tell you.

My name is Evans Ibok, a 25-year-old (just celebrated my birthday on the 2nd of January) Nigerian. I spent the last 6 years of my life learning a lot of things (Startup strategies, Coding, Design, Product Management, Business Development, Business Model Design, Investing in stocks ( the Warren Buffett Way), a little spanish, a little music, among other things).

Maybe that's why I can't fully put a description on myself.

As a child, I grew up writing poems and stories (fairy tales).

On my journey to adulthood, I still possessed the inner craving to unleash a bit of my childhood creativity.

Now I can talk about a lot of things. My knowledge base is vast, and I can't keep it all to myself.

So, here I am, SteemIt. I have come to share my thoughts, lessons, and creativity with this awesome community. I am here to spread, hope, love and positivity. I will be writing on a diverse range of topics and I hope, if only, I can make someone's day better and put a lot of positivity in them.
