RE: Announcing The World's First Crypto-Focused Mini Series Powered By Steemit

This sounds good as long as the public can relate to it. We don't need a gritty dystopic future story with a fetish-suit wearing sexy female hacker protagonist squaring off against jack-booted government storm-troopers.
All that will do is turn people, especially women, off.

I would much rather prefer to see a normal set of people being shown as the heroes of the story. While it is nice to see some badass hackers doing nija moves through a government facility, it is much more enticing to me to instead have some young adults and 20-somethings starting the beginnings of a revolution for what they believe in. Think of how Mr.Robot's Elliot is an interesting character because he is somewhat of an outsider.

I have an especially high hype about this because it's independent creation means that it doesn't have to be created in accordance to how the top brass thinks will make the most money. I am a big fan of cyberpunk fiction as you may guess.

Agree 1000%. Everything that mass media / entertainment establishment agencies can come up in recent years is dark and dystopic and downright seek.

Intentionally so, of course.

We need normal shows.
