Can it be that in time the tones are changing?

How do we deal with time?

From the beginning of our calculation of time we are interested in this topic. time is always present.
We philosophise about time. We dream of a time machine. We produce time management manuals. We equal time with money. We have the impression time gets more precious the older we become. Why is it chasing us that even we created a profession out of it - working as "time scients"?
What is the meaning of "time" for every one of us, how do we calculate it and how do we visualize or think about it?

My thoughts on "time":

Where is the memory of my first three years in life?

Shortest 10 hours: an Atlantic flight with my very good friend, eliminating a relevant amount of red whine during having a marathon talk, to realize totally surprised and drunk that landing was just about to take place.

13,6 seconds for hundred meter. Thats pretty bad. (sports contest during school time: uähh)

the longest 360 private minutes are just to personal to describe.

way to short 6 hours I spent reading the last part of "Harry Potter".

Driver is waiting. Zipper clamps. Ripped pantyhose. Why do I let myself get into a hurry?

All this wasted time. I don't dare to make the counting.

That I need 8 hours of sleep to recover: that tortures me.

Shortest 4 Minutes were those where I was third in the row (of 40 people) of an international meeting, waiting to introduce myself within a round of self casters to describe a quirk, though in no case one wanted to come up to my mind.

An agonizing half life it took me, before I sorted all the recipes of a pharmacy to their status, while sitting in the finance department of a health insurance and - not to fall asleep - sneaking out to the restrooms, where I sat twenty minutes on the toilet, desperately dozing off.

Always frolic and cheerful until your bud hits the grave (that is a German rhyme which I cannot translate well - it was one of my passed away mothers wisdoms)

It makes me sad that my life is just a blink in the eye of the universe.

Do you also have this strong feeling that time plays a major role?

Haste makes Waste. Old. Still counts. Otherwise things break or get lost.
