Our intention at this stage is to keep it all on steemit and see how it grows. We have bought steemshop.com and this will act as a live feed of items available for sale. But all transactions will happen on steemit with the built in escrow feature. If the demand is there, a dedicated UI will be created, but for now we are just testing the water.

Also very cool you are looking to extent the services on Steem/Steemit. Steem requires it.
