RE: An Introduction to Steemit (A.K.A. My First Blog)
Hey, and welcome to the Steemit platform and GRC! Looking forward to having you around and reading your articles on crypto.
If you would like to get even more involved you can do so here:
Gridcoin Developer Slack - includes general channels for troubleshooting, as well as dev and branding discussions.
Gridcoin IRC - join that channel, then register with NickServ using the instructions at the top of the page so you can join #Gridcoin. This is required to stop someone else stealing your nickname and the associated GRC.
Gridcoin Homepage - The actively maintained and developed homepage of GRC globally.
Gridcoin Subreddit - Anything GRC related. The devs read the comments posted here, and will in all likelihood directly address any questions you pose.
Gridcoin Forum and Main Thread - The ongoing megathread where you are most likely to find the original GRC developer Rob weighing in.
And that's a damn cute dog!
Thanks @dutch. I've actually been reading some of your articles for a bit now, and find your content to be quite high in quality. In all honesty, your article on the wasted potential of the hash was what really turned me onto Steemit in the first place; and it was popular with my LinkedIn associates as well.
As for involvement with Gridcoin I am actually interested in
doingattempting some development work. I'm registered on the Slack and IRC channels and have briefly browsed the GitHub repository; but I'm wondering if there is a more centralized/concise location outlining the project road-map and and jumping off points for new devs, besides the raw source code and GitHub issues? I don't claim to be a .NET master, but if I can make a meaningful contribution I'd consider that a win in my book.My dog thanks you for the compliments. He's adorable, but quite a handful at times too.
