Welcome!

I learned about steemit by reading posts about gridcoin, so I signed up. I think I'll use my earnings from these 2 sources to upgrade my machine.

For what it's worth, I am convinced you would regret this 5 years down the line. The value of STEEM and Gridcoin is at a low right now, and many people expect it to rise significantly after BTC settles down (myself included).

    Thanks Dutch! Good advice too. I plan on sticking around long term, so when I have enough that a few hundred USD won't make a dent (I expect that to be quite a while), then make some upgrades. I could use it though. I built my PC in...2005 I think? Old AMD FX 8120 and a Radeon HD 6770.
