Hi Steemit! I guess it's time introduced myself!

Hi everyone

Like you all I am loving Steemit. Like you all, I have written my introduction piece.

Probably unlike you all, this is not my first post. I suppose I just wanted to hit the ground running.

So now the hard part - which I guess I have been avoiding.

I live in Australia, in a really cool part of a really great city (Brisbane). I have a PhD and have a great job which I love. I love using evidence to change policies and how the (human) world around us works. I have studied music composition and comparative criminology.

I play in a band (all original music) for which I write the music (rock, pop, grunge, whatever). I write words too. Fantasy. Science fiction.

My passion (apart from my fantastic family) is creativity. I think that's why I love the whole crypto/blockchain adventure so much. The possibilities are endless. And I love Steemit because it is starting to show just how much of a gamechanger blockchain is.

But Steemit is just the start. Blockchain will revolutionise the fields of finance, contract law and government, and enable the creation of whole new creative possibilities across the board.

Blockchain is an enabler of creativity. And Steemit - and all the really cool creative people on it, are demonstrating this with every post.

I also love Steemit because it speaks to my commitment to social justice.
