Hi everyone, I have been told the introductory post is a required criterion when starting in steemit. I don't want to break those tradition, so here goes a brief intro about myself.

I have a pretty unique long name, so I'll keep it short for now as DRV or dearve ( I am gonna post about my full name in detail at a later time). I am from India. It's an incredible, fantastic place with lot of diversity as known to the world.

I am from the the southern part on India. I am from a place called Bangalore in state of Karnataka. It's among the top 3 metropolitan city of India. It is like a central hub for universities for higher studies and software based companies for job.

I have done my graduation in Mechanical engineering. I did not pursue my career in mechanical and joined IT based company. That's some unexpected and tragic turn of events.

So about myself I honestly say that I am one among the list under "the most lazy person". Here is the reason why: On a non-working day I sleep for 8 to 10 hrs, wake and have my bf, watch 4 different series of anime, read manga for some time, watch couple of movies during dinner and go back to sleep. the day spent completely on bed.

Hence my hobbies run about watching anime's, manga and gaming. So technically introvert by nature. That would be a normal day and routines along with working 5 days a week.

The abnormal day would be extremely opposite to that if above. I mean extreme opposite, transforming to be a new person. A total extrovert and partying till night. Well that's the part making memorable moments.

Now after saying all this I feel like imagining myself in the situation I hate most. The first interview question "tell me abut yourself". Damn!!! That's where I think what will this Interviewer do after knowing about myself.

However I just had a thought now guys, It's good to know one person at a time among the billions of people and see if you get connected to those, probably we'll end up knowing people with same wavelength and make some friends across the globe.

I am looking forward to knowing about a few people and probably making myself known to a lot.

So folks on steemit this is DeArVe. Nice to be here.

Hello dearve! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. Here are 5 essential tips that will help facilitate your onboarding process:

  1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of the 4 passwords and make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
  2. Get Steem rewards: You have the option to choose how to receive your post reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this will change over time. Check our post for more details.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Converting and powering up more Steem into Steem Power will enable you to have higher value on upvotes.
  5. Have Fun and Enjoy!
