Hello there everyone!

I recently joined Steemit with the hopes of getting back into a more regular cadence of writing. My career effectively got started with writing, when I began writing video game reviews in high school for places like GameFAQS.com and MMORPG.com, and this website gives me a good opportunity to get back to my roots. I'm hoping that I can become a presence on Steemit who is recognized for solid professional advice, specifically related to the video game industry. I've carried out talks with lots of high schools along the east and west coast, been a speaker at places like PAX West and Betacon!, and worked for quite a few of the major AAA studios, such as Epic Games, Funcom, Sony, and Ubisoft. I now work for Tencent America, who is one of the largest video game companies on the planet! Additionally, due to the nature of my job, I'll be traveling across the globe quite frequently. I'd like to share stories of my travels, the amazing varieties of food I'm experiencing, cultural experiences, and travel tips. As I write this introduction, I'm actually in Shenzhen, China, on my first ever trip to the far east.

Since I'm just getting started and don't really have a large following yet, I'll be super open to formatting suggestions, content requests, Q&A, and a variety of other styles. I hope that if you are interested in the video game industry, food photography/stories, travel, or video games in general, that you'll consider following me! Let's start a healthy dialogue as I learn how to best navigate and serve the community via Steemit. I'll also be trying to identify a healthy release cadence that I can adhere to and honor over the next few weeks, with the hopes of posting 2 articles a week, and potentially increasing that frequency gradually over time.
