I took a quick look at Ice Rock Mining. Stay out of it, it looks like a ponzi scheme. (the new users pay for the previous ones and it stops one day with all money gone, typical pyramid scheme). You need to know that the cost of mining for 1 BTC is 5 k USD (in USA), so giving away 20% profit just like that is unreal. It's a scam.

Yes, true! Research is very important. I don't believe it's 400% per year, only a marketing strategy, but they've calculated with BTC 14.000 USD and difficulty from January, so I think actually it's 120 - 140%.
Important are the cheap costs.
