Greetings from a new Steemit photographer :)
Greetings :) This is my first post on Steemit and I'm excited to be part of this growing community. Like many, I have been lurking for a while, but I have been lured in by wanting to show my support to some of the excellent content on here and as an amateur photographer, hopefully contribute some content of my own.
I enjoy landscape and creative astrophotography and anything ocean or nature related. I love surfing and stormy seas, and living on the peninsula of the Cape of Storms, there is plenty of opportunity to capture nature at its rawest, and men and women tackling giant monster waves.
Astrophotography
Earlier his year on a trip in the middle of the night to view the bioluminescent plankton in Kogelbaai, Cape Town.
Big wave surfing in Cape Town
Seasonal big wave swell saw surfers from all over the world descending on Cape Town. Adrien Toyon from Reunion throwing caution to the wind with his first time out at Dungeons.

Thanks @lieme, I am spending quite a bit of time on the West Coast of South Africa, so will be posting photos from there. Most of my time time is spent in Cape Town and surrounds.
