Craig Grant in 2004 - started off with allot of work ahead. I had a house to build, and I had to restart my Internet business from scratch because Vicky stopped helping me online. Julie’s modeling career was looking very promising, so we moved to Miami to help her get things going. The house building was making progress very fast, before moving to Miami I left the builder $8000 to finish to upstairs for us to move in. He assured me we would be able to move in by February. I knew Vicky still had the $10,000 I gave her in the bank. I asked her to use that $$ to live until the house is ready, she did not like that Idea. The drama between Vicky and Julie was still being fueled by Vicky and her online friends who hated Julie and I. Vicky started a web site solely for the purpose of spreading that hate, and as time went on, they were saying worse things about Julie, ONE, and myself. Julie was busy working most of the time, I was online rebuilding my Internet business and would read the hatred being spread by Vicky and her hate group everyday. The more I read the more I realized that Vicky did not know me very well, and she was no longer the same person I knew when she left Jamaica. I was sick of the drama and negativity, and that’s all Vicky had to offer. By the end of January I knew the relationship between Vicky and I was done, she left me, and she had a lawyer.
Building the house was the most important thing on my agenda, I decided to focus on the house and wait for Vicky to contact me when she was ready to work things out like mature adults without the drama and the lawyer. I was prepared to wait at least 1 year. The drama continued and In February I had to take our eStory web site down because Vicky and her friends called Child Protection Services (CPS) in Florida and made a false report that Julie and I were abusing ONE. We had to take drug tests and go thru being treated like suspects. CPS knew the report was false but they were required by law to investigate all reports. It was a hassle. Julie was allot more upset about it than I was, and she still is. I had already dealt with CPS in the past and was not worried because I knew we did nothing wrong.
In the middle of February the builder stopped working on the house because he ran out of money, we made allot of expansions during the construction and he never added any extra $$ to the cost for those expansions, so I was not surprised. Julie’s modeling was slowing down, so we decided to move back to Jamaica to finish the house. When we moved to Miami Julie and I each had about $10,000 in the bank, but we spent it all in Miami. We moved back to Jamaica with only the income from the web sites to take care of myself, Julie, and ONE. Vicky told me she spent the $10,000 she had, and some of it was spent to build her hate web site. I was worried about the welfare of RisPek, but Vicky told me she had everything under control and she did want anything from me. I was happy to hear that because I was broke and pumping all the $$ I had into the house building.
While waiting for the house to finish, Julie, ONE, and I lived a very poor lifestyle in a small house with no kitchen or bathroom. The owner said we could stay there for FREE. It was cool because we were together, and as long as we had each other, we were happy. I was very surprised Julie could handle living like that, I think she even handled it better than I did. The little house was across the street from my grandmothers house and my house construction. We used grandmas kitchen and bathroom in the daytime. When we had a little extra $$, Julie and I often went out on 2 day outings to Hotels around the Island, that was fun fun fun. Vicky was in Florida, she stopped communicating with me, and I started receiving letters from her lawyer. None of the letters said anything about RisPek, it was all drama, so I just threw them away. I had no idea where Vicky was living, Julie still communicated with Vicky’s friends and she told me Vicky and RisPek were living a great new life in Florida.
I was making about $3000 per month, and I used that $$ to build the house and take care of Julie, ONE, myself. There were times I would hand over hundreds of dollars to the builders and kept only $10 for us to eat for 5 days. I fell behind on my payments to Cashe’s mother, but I explained the situation and she was very understanding, she agreed to wait unit I moved into the house. The BIG problem was dealing with the workers, they were very slow. Every week we were thinking we would move in next 2 weeks, and months passed by. In June I gave up trying to rush the house construction and decided to just go with the flow. Julie went to Florida to visit family and I went to New York with Cashe to visit my mother and sister who were now living and working there. My mother paid for everything.
I spent a couple weeks in New York, then Cashe and I went to West Palm Beach to meet with Julie and ONE. I was planning to stay at my mothers house until my house was ready. But I hate West Palm Beach, so I went back to Jamaica with Julie and ONE. Grandma was in New York for a few months, so we had her house and slept the little house where we were before. Grandmas house was infested with rats and roaches, it was summer so the mosquitoes were eating Julie and ONE everyday. We were now in the final stages of building the house. I had no money to spare for sporting, these weeks were the hardest. We were very tired of living like shit, I wanted desperately to move into the house. The house was ready and waiting for windows and doors, when I hired the window man told me 6 weeks to make all the custom windows and doors, it was now going on three months. Julie cooked, cleaned, and took care of ONE while I spent most of my time on the Internet, I was working on a dial up connection while 80% of my customers were on high speed.
We finally moved in to the House in August. It was great. We did not have our own electricity connection yet, so we borrowed from my cousin Gary. In September we got our electric turned on, but then the worse thing of 2004 happened the next day, Hurricane Ivan was heading strait for Jamaica. It was a category 6 hurricane, we were scared to death. We had no way out, everything happened so fast. We bunkered up and waited for the hurricane to do its damage. The hurricane went around Jamaica, it was not a direct hit, we were lucky. We were living without electricity for 2 weeks. After the hurricane there was shortage of food, things were not good in the Island. I went to the bank and I could only get $200 because the Bank did not have electricity and my account was frozen as a result. We left to Florida the next day.
Before the hurricane my friend form Miami said I could stay at his house if the hurricane blew us away. I was in a very deep financial bind. I was unable to work online for about 4 weeks, so I did not make any money during that time plus the money I had was stuck in the bank in Jamaica. My mother gave me money to survive while I stayed in Miami, Julie and ONE stayed in West Palm Beach at her mothers house and was hit by hurricane Jeanne. October was the worst for me in 2004. It sucked very bad. Cashe’s mom had no more patience. She waited for months, she had every right to be angry with me, but there is nothing I could do but wait until things got back to normal in Jamaica.
We moved back to Jamaica in November to start the slow process of rebuilding the life we had before hurricane Ivan. I still owed allot of money to the builders and the web sites were not doing that great. The travel expenses to go back to Jamaica cost me over $2000. Julie had an online model agent who found her web site in 2003. He presented Julie with many opportunities via email almost every week, and Julie and I had always discussed her taking advantage of those opportunities after we moved into the house and hired a maid to help me with ONE. The time had come, so Julie went back to Florida to start working as a model. Vicky’s lawyer dropped the case was suing Vicky for $600. I received all the paperwork in the mail from the court house, I also received Vicky’s address and phone number. She was staying with the family of my personal assistant Chris who worked for me in 2003.
It’s now December, I sent Cashe’s mother some money. Julie’s modeling career is going allot better than we expected. She is making allot of money very fast. My Internet business is now making $3000 a month again. I stopped construction on the house to pay off bills and money I owed as a result of the Hurricane. I bought a TV satellite dish and hired 2 maids. Life is now what I want it to be. I have accomplished my goals for 2004 although the road was rough at times, and I am very happy.

That's the same thing I said man wow, congratulations man I know it hasn't been easy 👍
Thanks for sharing.
Seems your life was in a lot of turmoil during this period.
The break up of a marriage on it's own is very stressful but the addition of having to build a house is another one of those really stressful things you can do.
I know personally of several couples who actually split up over the stress of one of them going through a divorce (on it's own) and also have heard of couples splitting up over the stress of building a house.
As anyone who has every watched one of those DIY or property building shows knows a big project like building a house never goes smoothly.
It almost always gets delayed, goes over-budget and soaks up huge amounts of personal time.
All these things put a lot of stress on the relationship.
Then on top of that add in the fractious relationship with an ex-wife who is actively carrying out a hate campaign against you and all the legal problems of a divorce.
If that is not enough stress on a person add children in to the mix too.
I think a lot of people would just not be able to cope with that and it may become expressed as turmoil within the couple's relationship.
I think it is a testament to how strong your relationship with Julie/Yuliana is that you managed to weather this kind of emotional storm and have stayed together.
I look forward to reading more of your written posts as I think these sort of things are not only fascinating but also enable us to learn from each other's life experiences.
Thank you:)
Wow, I had no idea that Jamaica could go without power for 2 weeks and that the banks wouldn't have backup?! Insane.
Craig, I've watched you since last December when you got me more involved with crypto and you're a really amazing person. You're smart and one thing i know about you is that, you always find a way, you make the most out of everything. Your hustles are very motivating. Sorry about the hurricane bro. You mentioned saving that home depot investment for cashe when she comes visit. That will be an amazing moment and union after a while. I wish i get to see it. Sweet! :)
Wow, I wasn't aware you are a writer too. I thought you were vlogger only. I like to read more. Will try to go through your life story. Thank you for this.
yes, but writing takes allot more effort than vlogging, mostly because of having to go back and proof read over and over again
Wow dude! That was intense! You have lived an exciting life!
Talk about an insight into your life Craig! This is true stuff man. Glad to see where life is taking you!
I am glad that you have all turned out! The main thing is always to go forward, not stop. And no matter hurricane or storm. The main thing to believe is not to lose hope. Steem on @ craig-grant
All i can say is wow bro! I love reading this History!!!
