Shareing High School Topics from Germany (Abi)
Hello Steemit- Community,
What is this blog about?
under the pseudonym “Johann Amos Comenius” or just Comenius for short, I will post school topics which are relevant for the German Abi-exam. But don’t worry, I will write most of it in English. The topics/posts are self-contained and in no particular order. Maybe, you can find something that is interesting for you or you can use it to learn for your own exam. (Or maybe both at once???) Feel free to comment, ask, discuss or correct my mistakes. I will try to respond as fast as possible.
Who is/was John Amos Comenius?
John Amos Comenius or Jan Amos Komenský, as the Czech say, was a philosopher who lived from 1592 until 1670. He thought of education without pressure. If you are confused whether his name starts with Johann, John or Jan, you have been attentive. In Germany he is called “Johann Amos Comenius” that is why I sometimes use this spelling.
