Introducing Cointopic: a new crypto-community!

Hey Steemians!

I'm Bags, and, as you may have guessed, I recently started a new forum called Cointopic. Currently, we have very few members - two, to be exact. It would be very exciting if any of you decided to join to test the forum and build a community with me! I've posted an FAQ here if you had any basic questions. In essence, it is a pretty-looking new forum that is still under active development. In order to capture the spirit of decentralized currency, we hold polls for moderator "elections", site suggestions, and new forum creations. The site itself is hosted in the US so load times may be a little slow in other nations. I want to encourage any users to post new content on the forum and report any bugs. Steem even has its own little subforum at Cryptocurrencies>Altcoins>Steem!

Now a little bit about me...

I'm an aspiring crypto-enthusiast (that means user/trader/investor) who's interests include: design, CS, cryptocurrency, video games, music, and film. I wanted to create a supportive crypto-community that operates open-mindedly, so I did. I do actually have another account on Steemit (I hope that's not somehow against the 'rules') but I decided to create a new account so that the new community/brand that I built wasn't associated with myself, but with the community itself. I do have a little bit of experience as a forum moderator, so moving from that to site admin was quite simple. My inspiration for a supportive community came partly from Steemit itself. However, fear not! I am not just here to advertise. I hope to add value to the content here on Steemit in any way possible while also adding value to the content on my forum.
