Forgive me Steemians!! I did it all wrong by not formally introducing myself properly in my first post!
After reading and understanding a bit more about this amazing community I'd like a do-over please...
So Hello!!! I'm Suzette, I'm Steeming here from Anaheim, California!
I'll start with my greatest accomplishment – being the Mom of two AMAZING young men. My oldest being the one who introduced me to Steemit thank you @bornswift! It's actually been some years now, since these two have successfully flown the coop to create their own adventures and success, I am so proud and any of you that are parents, can understand that feeling. Here is Cody and I in Catalina and Ryan and I in San Francisco.
No grandkids yet, but I do have a grand tortoise named Jiro (jirothehero) cared for by Cody and an adorable grand pup named Benny who belongs to Ryan
Here is jirothehero

Having completed that important job, I am now spending time doing things that I enjoy...Yes, it takes some time to adjust to thinking of oneself first, but it can happen.
In my day job I'm an independent Real Estate Broker – with that; I have many hats, as I assist others to buy and sell property, run my own property management company, broker real estate loans and I am also a Notary Public.
I've been a health fanatic most of my life, clean eating, with lots of exercise and activities, such as hikes, exploring new areas, bike riding, YOGA, TRX, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, we refer to that as SUP :) LOVE, LOVE the beach, either working out or hanging out. Recent activity additions have been indoor bouldering and pickle-ball (think tennis for older people haha!)

As I'm quickly approaching level 52 in my life in July :)) I'm very interested in body hacking and superfoods...how can I improve my mind and body, as I get older to stay sharp and active?
I think one key is to constantly challenge myself; a great example is for Mother's Day my son, Cody, gifted me classes at codeacademy. First class – learning HTML, then on to coding... I may or may not ever use it, but it will stretch and strengthen my brain!
I'm also a Cryptocurrency enthusiast, just trying to wrap my brain around that, Blockchains and the how it all works.
I'm a podcast junkie, I don't waste time listening to the radio or even watching TV...most of the time I've have some podcast or audiobook going, whether in the office or my favorite time to listen is while driving in our So, Cal. traffic!! I found that can lead to not knowing about the latest pop culture news...I guess that's the sacrifice I must pay.
Eager to travel more. I've been to Europe several times, being that my Mom was born and raised in Germany, I was fortunate to travel there a few times. My latest trip to Europe was in 2013, during that trip I was able to expand my travel throughout Europe using the Euro-Rail with no real schedule or set destination...so much fun!!! Ready to go again.

Beware, I am a cell phone photographer maniac...I am grateful for my supportive and patient boyfriend who never complains when I suddenly stop to capture what's in my vision with my trusty cell phone camera.
This is Clint :)
Being creative with good food is my passion. Healthy cooking and eating has been a huge part of my life; however, just a couple of months ago I was diagnosed as “pre-diabetic”. As insane as that sounds to me, due to my always healthy lifestyle and eating habits, I found that incredibly discouraging and shocking. Since then, I've had to learn a thing or two about this condition and how to adjust for it. It hasn't been easy considering I didn't eat sweets, ate healthy carbs, or so I thought (quinoa, ancient grains, steel cut oats) and exercised at least 1 hour a day. I'm now adjusting and hope to share my journey with a blog soon.

Welcome to Steemit @cobramovin Great introduceyourself post. I visited Lampertheim in 1977. That reminds me of a story that I'll have to share. I'll let you know if I ever get around to it.

Hello @sighmanjestah! Thank you for the welcome. I too was in Lampertheim in 1977! I was there for about 2 months over summer that year. I would love to hear your story, I hope you'll share it. :)
Wow, what a coincidence? My brother was in the Army and he lived off base. He rented an apartment from an elderly German lady, along with a couple of others. I forget what her name was, but I'll get back to you. Who knows we could have passed each other.
Wow, yes that's possible! We stayed with my grandparents (Opa & Oma) :) I even remember the street (Breslauer Str). Lampertheim is not that big of a city. Have you been back?
No, unfortunately, the 1 month spent in Europe has been my only foreign travels. I am going to ask my brother if he remembers the address. I'm pretty sure he will. He called his landlord mama or something like that. I'll have to get out google maps to check. My brother just left this AM to California to refinance his rental house, so it will probably be a couple weeks til he gets back.

Would be fun to know the street. Your brother is heading to my state, small world!!
OK, I had to call my brother on the road to ask if he remembered the address. It was Martha Getrost , Lampertheim Heide. He couldn't remember the # and he said it was a rural part of Lampertheim so something like a Rural Route. He was stationed at Coleman AFB (he was an Army guy, so not sure why at an AFB)and lived off base.
My brothers rental house is in Rio Vista which is where he lived when he was in the Air Force. Huh, I thought you said he was in the Army. Yep, enlisted Army got out in the real world for college, didn't like it , so he reenlisted Air Force.
I'll have to ask my Mom if she knew her. I had to look up where Rio Vista is..I see it's up by San Francisco, where one of my son's live. I'm sure your brother has has many interesting stories to tell! Thanks for sharing :)
Of course you can do a do over. Looks like you have an adventurous life. I can't wait to see what other photos you have to share with us. You so fit and so strong what don't you do?
This article will keep you motivated not matter what happens here.
