My Passion - family and food

Hi @steemit family !
My name is Sebastian and I'm new to this fantastic concept STEEM.
I am a chef by trade from Perth, Western Australia where I live with my beautiful family.

I have lived here all my life. It's a quiet part of Australia but with so much to offer. Beautiful weather and great food. I live in a beautiful area of Perth - in the hills. Every season up here has so much to offer and so much colour

I learnt my trade mostly in hotels in the city until my mother opened a restaurant where we as a family worked it. We specialised in German cuisine and named it after my mothers favourite composer Beethoven.

Through the restaurant I met so many fantastic people who have become like family to us. One very special person I met was my wife, who was doing work and travel through Australia at the time. She was looking for a job and found our restaurant :)
After 10 years of operating this family business we unfortunately had to say goodbye as my mothers husband was diagnosed with the evil big C. She had to become a full time carer for him.
I was lucky to straight away find a great job 2 minutes from home at a stunning property as head chef.

The business has gone from strength to strength and I was very lucky to have a lot of my old guests and friends come visit me. I have also adopted a lot of the German style cusine that made our restaurant so popular.

I have always been very keen to share my food ideas and recipes with the world and now I have food the perfect platform to do so.
I look forward to hearing everyone's feedback and maybe you can use some of my recipes at home .
