How to write a good introduction [Tips]steemCreated with Sketch.

After the title, the introduction is the first element that the reader becomes aware of (and may be the last one if you do it wrong). It piques the reader's curiosity for the co, therefore, he is about read and provides context for the rest of your article. It must, therefore, be treated specially.

In this article, I share with you 3 components to respect to give a good first impression to your readers.

COMPONENT 1: BE A BRIEF AND LIMITED TO ESSENTIAL

A successful introduction is in a few well-chosen words, not in 10 sentences. In other words, avoid writing too long and too clear an introduction. This is an introduction and not a development. An introduction can either define your subject (what, who, when, where, why?), Or introduce the problem to which you will bring solutions.

COMPONENT 2: RIGHT TO GOAL

Nothing is more annoying than to read banalities or generalities in an introduction that brings no added value. Remind the context and highlight the issues in your article. Describe a specific problem your readers can identify with and tell them that there is a solution ... the one you are about to reveal in the body of your article.

COMPONENT 3: TAKE CARE OF YOUR DRYING STYLE

Your introduction should be fluid, pleasant to read and well constructed. Do not jump "from the rooster to the donkey", your ideas must follow and naturally follow each other. Without this, you are likely to discourage the person in the continuation of reading. Use a common editorial style and avoid overly technical terms unless you are addressing a very specialized target.

The above points can provide a solid framework. But there are several valid ways to write successful introductions.

If you have additional points to share on the successful introduction writing , feel free to leave a comment.
