 My name is Mark Bollobas. I work and live in Budapest but was born, raised and educated in the UK and US before moving to Hungary in 2010. I worked first as a journalist at Duna Television before co-founding SBrick, a tech/IoT startup that created the best remote control solution for LEGO.

With SBrick we have had two successful Kickstarter campaigns (SBrick & SBrick Plus) and have some exciting things coming down the pipeline not only for education but also for gamers. 

Last year I co-founded WeVoteMap, a project that I believe could revolutionize democracy using smart phones and the blockchain (to verify votes are valid), and that takes up most of my time. But journalism dies hard and the urge to write still remains, so when I came across Steemit I got very excited.

I will be writing here mainly about cryptocurrencies, specifically my journey and insights into crypto, as well as about things that have happened in Hungary - interesting/quirky events that likely weren’t covered west of the Danube. But I'll no doubt stray a little here and there and write about others things as well; I aim not to be boring, hahaha. 

Anyway, I'm excited to have joined Steemit and am looking forward to beginning!
