Advise for Learning How to See What Your Camera Sees

in #introduceyourself7 years ago (edited)

See the world through the lens of your camera has some similarities and differences final for watching the world without your camera. Even with the digital cameras the lowest available today, you can create photos that you can of course see with your eyes. Understand how your camera sees differently that your eyes will help you become a photographer more creative.

Here are seven ways in which your camera sees differently than your eyes:

  1. cadre

Each photo is bound by a Framework; four sides and four corners. You do not see your daily life with such restrictions to your vision. Learn how to create images well composed means that you must work within the limits of this framework and to draw the best party.

Do not consider the Framework as a restriction, rather than an opportunity to improve and share your vision. Dial carefully your chosen topic. Be selective of what to include and what it should be excluded for that your image shows only what you want to show.

  1. Zoom

If you are unable to obtain a composition, you may consider changing the lenses or zoom more or far away. That is something that our eyes can not do. To see the details in something that you look at, you must move, and to see a wider angle of view, you must divert.

The modification of the focal length of the lens gives your camera the opportunity to stay in the same position and yet see a large angle of view or a very narrow. Understand the field of vision of your lenses and be selective of how much or little that you include in the framework of your photos will help you to create compositions more interesting.

  1. Focus
One of the first things I learned after having bought my first camera was the importance of the focus. Since I first learned to focus my camera, I had to start to wear reading glasses so that I can see what is close to me clearly.

If your eyes are good you never even think about their ability to focus, they just do, continuously and without delay. It's important to learn how to focus your camera lens so the most important element(s) in your composition is sharp. Sometimes it's a photographer's choice to create soft focus photos, purpose generally a well focused photo will draw the viewer's eye to the most significant part of the composition.

  1. Profondeur de terrain

The control of the scope of a photograph is another aspect of the photograph that your eyes do not naturally. If your eyes are good, you will see the greater part of which is located in your field of vision. The use of your camera to check the quantity of which is concentrated in your framework is a creative aspect wonderful to photography.

There is a combination of factors that allow your camera to take pictures in which a part of your image is clearly developed and some of them is not. These factors are your objective and its setting of openness, the size of the sensor from your camera and the link of distance between your camera, the subject and the background. Find a good balance of these factors will give your photographs a quality that you never see naturally.

  1. Flou de mouvement

Another photographic technique that can control the amount of blur in your photographs is the considered use of the shutter speed. The use of a slow shutter speed and the taking of a photograph of a moving subject can result in what is called the motion blur .

You can check how much or little of subject movement is blurred by controlling the duration during which your shutter is open. If you leave your shutter open long enough, you can even create pictures of subjects in movement so that your subject is not visible in the framework. Your eyes will never see as it because a photo is made during an instance in time

Conclusion
In light that your camera sees, understand the differences between your vision natural human and the way in which your camera works to make photographs, will give you more pleasure and will help you to become a photographer.
