WHY are you Powering DOWN when you should be Powering UP?steemCreated with Sketch.

It is no secret, well maybe it is, that your Steem Power is your life blood here! Without it, your voting power means next to nothing! Yet I see so many people with less than 100 Steem Power POWERING DOWN! It makes no sense! If you have less than 10,000 Steem Power (SP) you should be powering UP as much as possible!

Why does it matter? Shouldn't I cash out my rewards ASAP?

NO! By dedicating 100% of all your rewards to Powering UP you are building your influence on the platform! The more power you have will make you more money in the long term than constantly cashing out the tiny bits you earn in the near term!

Conclusion

Power Up 100% all your posts, Power Up all your earned STEEM and purchase as much Steem Power as you can afford each week to directly increase your earnings here the easiest way possible! You aren't loosing your STEEM by powering UP you are simply making your voice matter more, thereby making you more money AND contributing more to the community!

Happy steeming hope this helps a few of you! Be sure to follow me, resteem this post, up vote (only when you are over 80% Voting Power) and follow my "group" #investingbydeej!

@staticinstance This post should be above yours ;)

See @staticinstance ;) that is why you up vote your own comments, you still earn curation and author reward for it ;)

Ok, thanks, good information!

Makes this post the first one people see so most likely to be re-upvoted ;) #curation-rewards woot!

Makes sense, power it up!

Exactly I want at least 100,000 SP before I even think of taking a 50/50 split on rewards!

Me too, I pretty much power up every time I get any steem

Do you upvote your own posts/comments? You know it does help you ;) my next post will go over why

I don't upvote my own comments, you think I should?

See how your comment is at the top right now? That is because I up voted it ;) watch me make my comment below above yours ;)

What split should you be taking on your own posts if youre below 100,000SP?

Agreed! Power Up till you are over at least 10,000 SP!

Hello @bigdeej. Welcome to Steemit. I am David. I wish you have a happy journey here.

You literally post this EVERY time on my posts.. FAKE BOT HERE! PLEASE IGNORE!!

Welcome to Steemit @bigdeej, I have upvoted and sent you a tip. Check my blogs if you are looking for tips on how to earn more Steem and SBD.

Once you have a lot of SP it may be good to cycle between powering up and powering down in case the market crashes again or in case you need to pay a bill or something maybe?

Bork!

If i had known before how important it was i would of done this when i first started! Thanks for the information!
