It's just luck I think. Sometimes it is about the time when you post.
yes i am sure that plays a role, but i think it would be nice to give a few flowers to the new people coming in to get them up and running, so they feel noticed at least a little,

I suspect that must have been a long time ago. There are too many people now for the few people that have enough voting power to catch everyone on their first post. It is mathematically not feasible.
yes a long long time ago.... August the eigth !!! ; - ))) a good and a bad thing then i suppose !! Good for Steemit but maybe bad for the etiquette founders of this way of Steem and the code they clearly hoped to install when i showed my first here the first time!!
