you need to understand that many Indian guys are taking female fake profile to make money, by verifying yourself you get a better reputation and more upvote. I can basically pretend to be you or anyone else you can easily link your your social media with Steemit, if you cant people will sooner or later find out. I will downvote you and keep an eye on your should I see something suspicious. I won't avoid your profile, if you are fake then you will basically steal money from the reward people that I have invested money in.
You can obviously have a close look at my profile it would be really an honor...
If you find something inappropriate then you can also downvote me that is totally up to sir...

As far "Steal Money" is concerned then I think you didn't went through my intro post where I've clarified that I'm here to make new friends & I'll put more emphasize on making a professional network out here...
