Hello Steemers!
My name is Anja and I'm 25-years-old girl from Zagreb, Croatia.
I have a degree in interior design and landscape architecture and I'm obsessed with scandinavian design, so I spend most of my time doing my own designs, searching for new ideas and admiring fascinating interiors worldwide. I would say that designing is not a profession but an attitude and a lifestyle. Although some people don't find it very important, I think that the space we live in is a reflection of our inner self.
I'm also a big nature lover, so I like spending my weekends somewhere far away from the city rush. I usually go hiking somewhere across the Croatian mountains, but sometimes I just keep it simple and throw a picnic in the park with my friends. Fitness activity is important to me, so my daily routine includes yoga practice and taking a long walk with my labrador dog. During the winter, my fav activity is alpine skiing!
My posts will be mostly about interiors, home design, furniture, decor, and exterior design! I hope you'll like it :)
Welcome! What is the cost of living in Croatia? It is a beautiful country, I would love to visit from Canada. I have several friends there and they would be surprised if I actually arrived. It is a long flight from Canada.
Thank You! Well first, I must say that Croatia really has the most beautiful coast You'll ever see. Croatia is called "A 1000 islands country", and our Hvar island is a must-see. I would reccomend You visiting the city of Dubrovnik, where the Game of Thrones series were filmed :) Croatia is unfortunately a poor country and it's very cheap to spend some time here. For exampe, You can have a beer in a bar for around 2$ and have a dinner at a fancy restaurant for around 15-20 $. Accomodation prices are also not very high. I think the most expensive thing will be Your plane ticket :) Hope You'll visit us soon!
