Cryptocurrency world introduced me to Steemit!

Hello Steemians! I stumbled upon Steemit when I was expanding my cryptocurrency investment into altcoins. I am relatively new to the crypto world. I first heard about Bitcoins back in late 2015 but thought it was another internet gimmick trying to scam you. So like many others, I ignored it completely. 

Fast forward, in September 2017, I saw a Facebook post by a fellow Sabahan (Felix Gim) inviting Sabahan to join a Whatapps group dedicated to educate and share this exciting new crypto world with other fellow Sabahans. A few of the members are veterans of Forex trading. So it was quite an easy transition for them. I learned a lot from them and at the same time did my own research. I gained enough confidence within 2 weeks and bought my first Bitcoin. Now I own about 10 cryptocurrencies and although the market is experiencing FUD at the moment, I believe that this is part and parcel of any highly speculative investment. I also believe that this is going to replace the current flawed fiat  system and I hope you are as excited as I am for the next journey that we are about to experienced.
