Hello Steemit ~~

My name is Vincent ( online nickname Akira), I had been on steem for 1 months now, but finally got time to sit down and properly introduce myself. I am living at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. A beautiful sunshine state.

A little bit about me:

I am a medical scientist based in hospital. After I graduated from university, I did my internship in Gisborne, New Zealand, a rural township with total population of 30000 people. Some people may not like the inconvenience of rural area but I loved it so much I stayed for another 2 years after my internship.

There were no traffic in the rural town, going to work took me 3 mins drive and sometimes I could even drive home, relax a little, and have lunch before driving back to work.
The people in Rural town were very friendly and I made a lot of friends during those 3 years. Life style there was really relaxing, I went fishing on the weekend and play online game at night.

I moved to Rockhampton, Australia in 2006, I was planning to stay there for a much longer, but my work-live balance was unhealthy. The lack of health professionals in town meant sometime I was forced to work 48 hours (on call) without any sleep.

So, we moved to Brisbane for a much better lifestyle. And I am loving it!!

Family man

I have been blessed with a beautiful wife and 2 kids. My wife is a clinical pharmacist, so we both have a busy professional life. But once we have time we will take the kids out for lots of fun.

Watching both of them growing up is the most wonderful thing that happened to me. I have to admit sometimes they just make me nuts, but watching them sleep like an angel and smiling at you, the hard work is all worth it.

My hobby:

1. Photography:

I love taking photos. Although, I am not a professional photographer, I love snapping every nowandthen. I took a lot of photo for my kids, I want to use my camera to record their life so when they grow up they can look back and see the journeys we've been through as a family. I am also a very festive person and we celebrate every holiday.

2. Drawing:

Drawing relax me a lot. I can do sketch and also comic style. This year (2018) I decide to do something different. I decide to open a blog "Akira's Drawing board" on FB. I also share my comic in my blog on Steemit.

3. Travel:

We are lucky that we live in Australia, a country that have 4-5 weeks annual leave and they encourage you to take the leave so you can relax. Once a year we will do a little bit of travel to explore the world and also recharge ourselves.

Fun Facts about me:

I love Food so much that it is nearly impossible for me to loss weight ~ lol ~ I once drove 87km just to have an very nice Ramen and Katsudon for lunch or dinner then drive all the back (total travel time over 2 hours). I've also took the train to another city just because people told me about the amazing steaks there.
Because of my love for food, I also enjoy cooking. My wife is extremely happy because she doesn't like to cook. I am the main cook in my household.
