I recommend Snow Crash by Neil Stephenson if you'd like to try some cyberpunk. I don't know Ciel Ellis and here work. What kind of genre are we talking about?
Id never heard of her before it was gifted to me, I don't know if its very well known. I suppose "self-help" type of book. I will have to check that out given the chance :) My favourite book when i was young had to be Daughter of the forest, I just re-read it recently. I love most of that authors work, especially that series.
I'm afraid I haven't read anything of Juliet Marillier. As for my favorite book, ti's the one I recommended. I read it thrice so far. I also like Stephen King. As for non-fiction, I highly recommend anything by Naomi Klein, Noam Chomsky en Bill Bryson, among others.
