Hey steemians, it is a long overdue introduction.

I am Afamefune Uche. I am a student in the university of Benin- Eke city, studying Mass Communication. I am from Delta State. I basically speak English and I am a Nigerian. I have been on this uplifting platform for the past two months and it has been a confluence of activities.

At the beginning of the year 2018 my cousin @abuoshioke shared an array of light about this rich community. What majorly pulled my attention was that the platform was opened for writers.

I am a writer, poet, freelancer and a spoken word artist. I am aspiring greatly to be sucessful in the above fields.

I love writing, I have been bleeding from the pores of my experience through the cracks of my palm since I was six, and I started with sketching caricatures from the left over pages of my note books. My friends then would wait patiently taking turns to read my collated books. I never knew what kept them glued to my write ups, for me writing at an early age was a distinctive mark attributed to none of my pairs.
As the hands of time ticked, I spurred a lot of my friends in ripping their note books and rebounding them for the sake of storytelling lol….crazy right?

As I progressed with my academics my writing style progressed from sketching caricatures to plays to prose and poetry. Apart from my responsibility of writing for myself, I am a sister to four amazing siblings, the sole organization of the Afamefune territory.

My leading skills have been groomed thoroughly as holding the position of the elder one at home, I have learnt to always try as much as possible to carry every one along.

My time and experience on steemit has sharpened the antenna of my attentiveness and curiosity, I am always keen to learn new things, more writing skills, and styles, read more books, listen carefully to any person with volume of vitality with a book or my note pad.

One major feature that has been unlocked by my presence here on steemit is photography. It is often said we are like an onion blub on earth, the journey of survival peels us opened. I have never had the flare for photography and taking pictures, but I have been exposed creative pictures where the street and society has been highlighted to a photo studio with the manipulation of light which is simply amazing. I am planning on getting a camera to kick off with my photographic passion😊😊😊

I am found in almost any hive of activity snooping around with my phone
Here are some of the pictures I have personally taken, they are not perfect but consistency is the key to perfection and I believe I will get their soon.

I personally believe in good relationships, keeping them, grooming them and savoring them to grow better. And relationships have been founded and nourished through steemit, I have meet good souls who support and spur me to write better day by day they include @abuoshioke @Langford

My experience on steemit has been nothing but growth. Growth spiritually through the steem church- God bless @Sirknight for setting an amazing platform, stem education in terms of health, poetry in terms of sharing my pain, joy and perspective and a whole lot of amazing tags
I am introvert, I love keeping my circle close with one or two tied relationships

I desist from the array of sunlight
Making love to my skin
I desist from the irritation of noise buzzing into the pallet of my ears
I enjoy building home from the
Noisy solitude drawn from my soul
Making a nest of coverage from the walls of my room
Fuming with milky candles of yesterday
I crave traveling down the angles of mind
Anchoring fear
Sailing a ship of optimism through
The compass of my thought
For it leads me home

I really love poetry, mixed with the tunes of swaying blues in the jingles of memories. Poetry is painting out the empty canvas of my heart in all best possible shades. I play the piano

I am a lover of coke and food- majorly ripe plantain, rice and stew

I am not a makeup individual- I am so comfortable in my bare skin and face that I don’t bother putting on make-up or dressing to the extreme, I believe there is sophistication in simplicity.

I am a lover of children, I started taking care of my siblings at the age of six and so I develop a soft spot for kids, I see them as troubling joys in a world of chaos
