New on board

I wish you a wonderful, good day, whoever may read this. So, now I am on steemit and somehow i missed it to introduce myself in English. I'm surprised to find myself here. Just barely a day ago I did not even know that this site exists and now I am ready to write my first posts. But my sign up was already troubled by some serious problems, ok. ok. not really serious, but quite unusual for me. The system asked for my cell number. Ups, I have no mobile phone, never had one and (hopefully) never will own one. So what do you do in such a case, you leave a message on facebook for your handy-owner-daughter for permission to use her number. While waiting for an answer I started writing my first post.
Who am I, what do I think, what do I believe, what do I know, what do I do, why I'm writing here. Let us start with the last question. Why do I write here. The first few questions hopefully will answer themselves sooner or later with thousands of thousands of lines, and hundreds of future posts.
So, I like to write very, very much! I worked as a freelance journalist for an animal magazine in younger years, then I wrote my first book. And I can not leave my fingers from the keyboard and leave my comments on facebook, youtube and similar medias, so why not here, why not mainly here. And about what I would like to write? About life par excellence. About this incredible diversity of life and it's experiences. About what makes the essence of life ultimately.
A very rich, unusual, varied and adventurous life is already behind me and I have just mastered a bit more than half of my life time (assuming that I am getting very old). Perhaps that is the reason why people often ask me for my advice. What do you think about this or that, what would you do in that case, has this happened to you before, do you have an idea etc. Well, here I am!
