In case you are new to our work, we are enemies of the State. We promote the principles they hate the most: peace and self-ownership. We seek to expose all attacks on these principles while providing the most empowering solutions we can find.
Steemit is remarkable solution! This crowd sourced news platform is by far the most creative use of a blockchain to date. The way Steemit rewards the discovery of valuable content is brilliant!
Facebook and Reddit have been censoring us for years. Not long ago our traffic from Facebook dropped by 80%. Around the same time Reddit banned the URL ActivistPost.com from several leading subreddits after many of our articles went megaviral. As you know, they don't like to promote the truth.
The loss in traffic nearly ruined us. But we're grateful because it forced us to get stronger and cultivate new channels. Now Steemit comes along and it may be the most enlightened community yet!
It's so refreshing to be among people who value voluntary solutions for free speech, decentralization, alternative currency and other challenges we face.
We converted to voluntarism – the libertarian philosophy which holds that all forms of human association should be voluntary – before it was cool. Okay, maybe it's only cool at Steemit.
We were also early supporters of Bitcoin with our first article about it appearing over five years ago.
Both Bitcoin and Steemit perfectly represent the Bucky Fuller quote that we also live by: You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.
We look forward to building this new model with all of you.
