Julia Louis-Dreyfus now has the most SAG Awards — and a date to come back to 'Veep'
"Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus couldn't make it to the 2018 SAG Awards Sunday night to commend her on-screen character in a satire arrangement and comic drama arrangement gathering wins with her castmates.
In any case, she was there in soul as her costars got their trophies.
"We miss her extraordinarily and wish she was here, no doubt," Timothy Simons, who plays Jonah Ryan, said backstage as the "Veep" win transformed into a Louis-Dreyfus lovefest.
Prior in the day, the "Veep" group had been messaging their daring pioneer, a.k.a. Selina Meyer, who completed chemotherapy for bosom disease Jan. 11.

So glad to be a union part. So glad for my @VeepHBO bozos for winning gathering grant. Miss being at the table with all of you. How was the chicken?"
Her administration on the arrangement of "Veep" sets a tone for the whole cast and team, the outfit concurred. "Every one of us were a bundle of divas when we began, yet she doesn't have a terrible day so we can't get out of hand," said a grinning Kevin Dunn, who plays Ben Cafferty on the show.
"She has no presumption, no privilege, she's an awesome partner, makes a domain that is a family," included Tony Hale, who depicts Gary Walsh. "Also, she's a better than average cook."
Minutes after their stop backstage, a serenade could be heard resounding from the Shrine Auditorium passage: "JLD! JLD!"
Louis-Dreyfus will profit to generation for "Veep" in August, as per castmate Matt Walsh.
"[W]e'll begin recording in August and it will air in 2019," Walsh disclosed to Entertainment Weekly on Sunday. "We've known for about a month … she's done some table peruses, she's doing admirably."
The performing artist uncovered her bosom tumor analysis in September and completed chemotherapy Jan. 11. On Saturday, she posted her Instagram bolster during the current year's Women's March.
With the current year's wins, Louis-Dreyfus conveys her SAG Awards aggregate to nine, making her the society's most dominating on-screen character.
