ROAD to GLORY

Hello Steemit Community, today I introduce myself in this first post. My name is Jose González, I live in Venezuela and I’m 26 years old. I am a crossfit coach at Morro Crossfit, and I’m also a funtional training coach in Hiit40. Achieving this goal wasn’t easy, but I always stood out in sports, so I’ve practiced many of them, what gave me a lot of experience. Being Venezuelan, of course the first sport I ever played was baseball, it was a short stage but it was my first contact with the sports world. Then I did cycling in a sports club close to the neighborhood I grew up in, it was a discipline I really enjoyed and I still love it. I was a sprinter, football and basketball player for a while too, untill I met volleyball. This was a sport that brought up the best of me in a physical and mental level. I practiced it for 7 years, I was the captain of my high school team and also in college.

I was in a rugby team when I discovered crossfit. I found out that all of the hard work, effort and discipline made me strong and capable of being the high performance athlete I am now. Obviously I left rugby and I started focusing completely in this discipline which is honestly the craziest and most amazing sport I’ve ever practiced, and the one I wanna do as long as I can. This is my story of how I discovered and managed to achieve excelence in sports, untill I got to the place I call my home, my box. This was a road where there were tears, disapointments, sweat and blood, but there’s no doubt that the biggest reward is what you learn, and most of all the people you meet along the way. I’m saying goodbye ‘till my next post in this which I call my road to glory.
