It's such a interesting sensation looking back on these memories, it seems to have only just happened and yet so much has changed already. Perhaps time traveling has some kind of dizzy side effect? Kinda like G-force bends or something? Perhaps it's just that watching all this makes it feel so real again. My heart high in my throat with all this sincerity and vulnerability, so much love stuff.
Jamie and I have been friends since we were back in the industry. The first time we ever met (on set) she predicted we'd be together. I laughed it off, although we exchanged numbers anyway and that was the beginning of our beautiful journey. We can't explain it, we simply feel free together as if we have always known each other. At that time I admit, I wasn't a very date-able guy. Jamie was brand new in the biz and full of excitement about all the fun she was having. It took us a couple of years and a long walk half way across the world and back until we finally got it together.
Anyway that's another story, when I got back we decided to run away from porn valley altogether. All we wanted to do was be with each other, explore our world and fall deeper in love. Fast forward a couple more years and so many incredible memories. Backpacking, soul searching, grid working and living fully in flow with the digital nomad lifestyle. Our spinning wheel of fortune gradually came to rest back in the city I was born. Here we are in Chiang Mai, sitting on our bed eating ice cream and facing the prospects of our BIGGEST adventure yet! Parenthood.
