The one who hopes- introducemyself

My introduction comes late, however, I hope not too late. And here we are already by the topic: HOPE. Perhaps one of the most important human conditions, which let us survive until now. With hope we are going to fly to Mars, with hope we get up in the morning anticipating that everything will turn out fine during the day, and so on.
I came to Steemit because I hope this might be the right platform to talk about Esperanto, the international language, brought to the world more than 100 years ago.
The word Esperanto means the one who hopes, and derives from the Esperanto word root esper (hope) and -anto, which is a suffix and refers to a person. Esperanto is also a pseudonym of the author of the little booklet International Language in Russian. It was the first publication to describe the new constructed language (July 26, 1887 in Warsaw). The author was a shy Jewish language freak and professional fresh-baked oculist. In an earlier article you can find out more about this genial man L.L. Now you can ask if there exist a language problem at all, because the whole world speaks English... But this needs more time to look at properly.
Here I am mostly going to steem my thoughts about Esperanto and language stuff in English as well as in Esperanto.

Perhaps one word why I am so interested in languages. I am a German who lives in UK for 10 years, have seen other countries around the world and was always amazed by the different tongues. However I understood it would be very helpful if there was such a thing like a common language, easy to learn apart from your own. We as world citizens can see more and more that the world is only one country and that we have to cope with each other by solving our most urgent problems. What better way than to use a common language.
