Yes, I AM - Being comfortable with Self as a social worker

Yes, I was a social worker and very successful at engaging children and families and in protecting and safeguarding children - I have emails and work references to prove it boo so PLEASE don’t get it twisted! Being good at my job I quickly rose to senior social worker and senior practitioner handling complex cases, some were covered by the media, others are too distressing to mention. But the one thing I learnt was that you can't take it personally. Supervising a team of qualified and newly qualified social workers in managing their caseloads was the first sign that I was a teacher. I then went on to work in the family court as a family court advisor and court appointed children’s guardian representing children in court proceedings. It was a natural transition and by now I didn’t need to think about what the risks were, something inside me, some may call it intuition, a third eye, I call it allowing myself to ‘Be’ unapologetically regardless of who approved or not. Being meant I was guided by something higher more powerful than any theory, tools or training could ever instill in me the insight and foresight to see beyond the smoke and mirrors sometimes presented by families. These events prompted my interest in becoming a life coach.

So here I am FierceWarrior on a mission to Be who I AM irrespective of the collectives trying their best to prove I AM NOT ENOUGH..
