'Introduce Yourself' - New to Steemit - My Story

My name is Jasmine and I wish to use this platform to connect with other like minded people as well as create, film, upload, write and share all kinds of content.
I am currently working on a casual basis and studying journalism part - time in the hopes that I can actually have a career I'm passionate about one day. My hobbies are mainly creative ones and I would like to think this platform will treat me better than YouTube.
