Today I got my account opening approved, at first I thought what am I going to write? I realise every first post matters.

Why does it matter so much?

*It gives you a sense of welcome to a new community

*It somehow shapes your relationship and how you eventually interact with people.

*It provides an avenue to understand the workings in your new found social space.

*It serves as a memory and something you reflect back upon after some years :), the first set of people that interacted with you, the first hello you wrote, the first smile you give and equally the first annoying reaction to comments of other users.

Positioning your first post matters a lot, be creative, be driven by what you want people to know, to interact with, the sort of personality you possess and the sort of people you want in your social space.

I want to remember this in a few years to come.
