My introductory
It seems like the Intrduceyourself page is less advertised, it used to be a big focus of the site. One of everyone's earliest posts should be under the tag 'introduceyourself'. Some people even make hundreds or thousands of Dollars on their introduction posts.
You do not have to post an image of yourself, but in order to verify accounts they ask that as many people as feel comfortable doing so post an image of them holding a piece of paper or have written on their hand "Steemit" and the date. But in doing this remember that nothing on the Blockchain can ever be erased.
Anyways, I think its a brilliant platform for users to express themselves and its only some time, that you'll see Steemit making it really big!
