🔰Why Decentralized Internet is 'The Need of the Hour'?🔰

Well, folks, I'm writing this post today to discuss the need for decentralized internet. When something is decentralized it exists throughout the system. Our current internet system is not decentralized. Websites and applications have servers aka central points of failure and control. In contrast to a centralized system, decentralization will make these websites and applications run on the entire network of connected computers so that there is no single place of vulnerability and so that no one entity can control everything and do sneaky things with your data.

The decentralized internet will essentially make the internet a vast cloud in which we are all water droplets. Bitcoin first exposed this concept to it being the first successful digital cryptocurrency. As we all know Bitcoin runs on the blockchain aka the genius decentralized networking behind Bitcoin. This is only possible thanks to cryptography, it takes trust out of the equation. In the ways cryptocurrency allows us to securely make transactions peer to peer without a middleman such as banks.

The decentralized internet will allow us to use the web without trusting a single entity with our precious data. Everything is secure uniquely encrypted distributed across the entire network and it is open source meaning everyone can see exactly how it works.

So what are the implications of such a revolutionary technology the decentralized internet. Users who make content for blogs, social networks, forums etc can be paid instead of the website owners making money by farming the users who provide content. I know Steemit is doing an awesome job in revolutionizing how content providers are rewarded for the content they generate, but in this post, I'm talking about the entire decentralized internet ecosystem as a whole.

Decentralized internet stops the farming of users once and for all because it provides a framework for a world without a middleman. Also, the government can't intervene and we all know how is trying to control us by partnering with the biggest services like Google, Facebook, Apple and even our cell phone service providers. The decentralized internet puts an end to this bullshit. As well it even allows democracy to replace the corrupt system we have in place now. No longer will we have to elect representatives aka middleman that sell our trust to the corporations that lobby.

We can actually use this technology to vote on issues ourselves 'true democracy'. We the people can take the power back. Decentralized internet takes money out of the equation and lets everybody have an equal say. Let's say you have a website or service that's somebody with more money than you doesn't like the government the 'good corporations', well with the decentralized internet there's nothing that they can do to take your content down because it's running on the whole network. They would have to take down every single computer which would be impossible without some insane Big brothers crackdown and our current society is simply too dependent on computers anyway for that to happen.

There are so many implications for this revolutionary technology. Use your imagination there's so many that people haven't thought of yet. You may be thinking this seems like something that an average person wouldn't understand or too complicated, to that I will respond well that's what people thought about the internet right. We already have so many decentralized successful cryptocurrencies projects. We just need to club the decentralized theme to the internet.

I encourage everybody to get hyped about this. Mankind will literally be saved by this new technology. I'm sure this is going to be the next big thing. Just imagine this can fix so much and open up so many doors. The decentralized internet is what humanity will look back on as a key turning point in our evolution.
