Is the Internet Dead?

Sounds weird when I put it like that, but the overall idea is pretty simple. The first version of the internet as a whole is actually evolving. After watching the first episode of Silicon Valley, it made me realize that the Internet might actually be replaced? Remember when the billionaire douche character asks Richard what he would do with unlimited money?
He said he would build a new internet. It made me realize that everything on the old internet is starting to be censored or demonetized. The new internet, i.e. the crypto/alternativemedia environment is in a totally different state of mind.
People are thinking more long term and it is working. Just think about how bad the US Dollar is going to be hit in the next recession? So many competing currencies , including digital, are evolving the world. For example, Steemit is an entire world of social media, where people actually get paid to post content. It is a genius play, and so is Bitcoin, Ethereum and many other cryptos. I think the magnitude and rapidity of the change will come before anyone even knows it honestly...
Hopefully, it is a good change...Regardless, the #newinternet is coming.
