It's true that existing big networks get validated before smaller ones, but having more money doesn't only mean they can pay more - it also means they can take more responsibility, court premium sources, produce content of greater quality simply because they have more than time to spare. It also means that they move slower than individuals, but if you're the kind of person who needs his news as they happen then you'll probably pay for your news instead of relying on Google or any other AI curation.
