Maybe it does need to happen, as sad as it may be to admit, as scary as times ahead may seem. But we haven't lost, this is just getting started. By being able to communicate for the first time through the internet and now blockchains, we have all this access to information and to record our own history in ways that we can reference later on. We have a chance at choosing for the first time because for once we have real hope of having access to all this data about each other and all things by the ways of this technology. We got a taste at what freedom may be like and I don't think it's possible to put out an idea that has taken so many minds.
